Mahasweta Ray has been a leading actress in Odia-(Oriya) as well as in Bengali film industry for a long time.She was born in Puri,Odisha.She studied in Sri Aurobinda International Centre of Education(High School) and SCS College,Puri. Now she lives in Mumbai.
Noted for her versatility and acknowledged as one of the finest actresses of Odia Cinema.She did a number of films, some of which were very successful. To name a few, we have Sesha Shrabana, Janma Data,Sati Anusaya,Sankha Mahuri,Chinha Achinha,Maa O Mamata,Pooja,Tike Hasa Tike Luha,Hisab Nikas etc.After that, she was offered lot of challenging roles of different genre and she took up the challenge and proved her worth. Like Swapana Sagara,DORA,GruhaLaxmi,Jaa Devi Sarba Bhuteshu,Kandhei brought a lot of name and fame. Then, she kept climbing the ladders of success. She has won many awards for her performances in many movies and “Sesa Shrabana” was her first ever movie with legendary actors Prashanta Nanda and Hemanta Das.
Archita Sahu was born in June,1990 (snaanpurnima) .she is a leading Oriya actress in Bhubaneswar based Oriya Cinema at Ollywood, she is presently one of the beautiful and youngest actresses in oriya cinema at Ollywood. Aged 18 Archita became a popular Ollywood actress in Bhubaneswar based film Industris. She had much intrest in dancing ,modelling and acting from childhood.
Education Career :
Archita is a student of D.M School. After that she is continuing her study B.Tech at KIIT University at Bhubaneswar , Orissa
Career in Dance and Acting in Films :
Archita is learn classical and Odissi dance. She has also won National Scholarship in Odissi, Archita Sahu was crowned as Miss Kalinga in year 2004.
Archita as an Anchor started her carrier in ETv's superhit music serial " Rum Ku Jhumana". As an actress she did her first Oriya film 'O My Love' in 2005. To her credit she has many hits and superhits including 'Babu I Love You', 'Mu Sapanara Soudagar (2008) ', 'To Pain Nebi Mu She Janama', ' Akashe ki Ranga Lagila' which were got 100 days box office hits. Archita has won laurels in acting, modelling and social works. With her talented and magnetic acting approach, she was won the best New Comer and Best Actress Awards. She is the new but established face in Oriya / Odia Films. Her enchanting smile and simple performance makes her the most promising actress. By the time a case reaches to Puja which is very hopeless to win so that no Advocate is taking that. Her Mother advice her to take the Case and lastly Puja win with her brilliant advocasy. Coart scens are very enchanting and have won the heart of Oriya people. Archita has also proved her acting skil as Puja showing soft corner of her heart even she is determinant and head strong. She has acting in film “Tora Mora Jodi Sundar” is a super duper picture and next film is "Loffer" as co-actor Young sensation "Babusan" and "Prema Kebe Marena".
